Brr…freezing cold behind the windows, I’m sitting in an armchair drinking hot coffee with spices and enjoying doing nothing. But a thought crosses my mind of a spring coming up with big steps, contaminated body, unwanted fat cease, cellulite, and so on.
I’m mobilizing my body and grey cells to activate. What to do to welcome upcoming spring in perfect condition?
I’m starting with cleansing my body. I will follow already tried out whole grain monodiet.
According to Chinese medicine spring is a perfect time to cleanse the liver. In common thinking hungry diet cleanses body the best. However, before carrying it out, a consultation with a physician and a special preparation are required. Besides that, only a healthy person can follow a hungry diet.
The safest monodiets are whole grain and vegetable diets.
Additionally, herbs help us in body cleansing. The best is St. John’s wort which regulates gall bladder and liver functions. Yarrow is also useful which dilute stagnation in the liver. Fennel tea will improve the work of spleen and pancreas and liquor of crumbled hawthorn will strengthen the heart and lower blood cholesterol level.
Additionally, drink one table spoon of virgin olive oil + 1 table spoon of lemon juice, and then gently massage your liver with circular movements.
With longer monodiets the worst are the first couple of days. Headaches, muscle pain, queasiness. All of those unpleasant ailments disappear after three days. Then you feel a visible boost of energy and strength. We feel like we are able to move mountains. The need for a long sleep decreases.
Of course, during a diet, besides herbal teas, we drink about 1,5 liters of mineral water. After ending a diet, step by step we get back to a normal nutrition. For about a week we eat boiled vegetables sprinkled with herbs. Instead of coffee we drink energizing juice of beets with half a half of carrot juice.
Tips for cleansing time
● Take a warm shower in the morning and in the evening
● Everyday go for a walk noticing beauty of the world which surrounds you
● Do simple exercises without forcing yourself
● Listen to your body. Take a nap if you feel like it. Rest more often.
● Go for a massage, it will help in body cleansing.
● If you don’t have contraindications, go to sauna.
● Don’t drink coffee nor alcohol, don’t smoke.

If you can’t sacrifice such long time for body cleansing, then treat your body with one hungry day. Once a week it’s worth to do one liquid, vegetable or vegetable and fruit day. During this time we eliminate salt, coffee, tea, cigarettes from our diet.
Liquid day
Start a day with drinking a cup of warm, boiled water with a slice of lemon, tea spoon of honey and a piece of fresh ginger. You have to drink it slowly, taking small sips. It will perfectly stimulate intestine peristalsis.
Still mineral water is the best ally of every cleansing treatment. It would be the best if we could drink it about 1,5 to 2 liters a day. Some of it we can exchange with green or herbal tea (e.g. of nettle, dandelion, St. John’s wort, peppermint).
● In the meal time drink a cup of juice (During the day there should be at least five of them). The best are fresh juices e.g. of apples, carrots, tomatoes, beets.
They shouldn’t be spiced. If they appear to be too strong, you can dilute them with water.
Vegetable day
We start our day with drinking one cup of warm, boiled water with supplements. Besides water and herbal teas, we plan 5 meals based on vegetables.
For instance for breakfast we eat grated carrot spiced with lemon juice and olive.
We prepare bullion from vegetables which we drink during the day and have snacks made up of raw vegetables, for example green celery, raddish, kohlrabi, pepper.
It is very advisable to eat sour cabbage sprinkled with caraway-seed and spiced with olive. We steam vegetables, cream soups and eat it with joy of our bodies’ health.
Fruit and vegetable day
We start a day with a cup of warm water, as in the prior diet. We also drink mineral water, freshly – squeezed juices and herbal teas. During the day we eat fruit (also frozen), salads made of steamed and raw vegetables spiced with herbs, olive and lemon juice.
Dear ones, after above mentioned treatments, inner cleansing, we take out roller-skates and we go looking for SPRING.
