Heal your relation-ship with money
Collin Tipping, the legendary author of „Radical Forgiveness” and „Radical Manifestation of dreams” came to Poland to conduct one and only workshop by an intriguing title „You can heal your relation-ship with money”. I had the pleasure to talk to Collin. Joyful, down to earth, with great sense of humor and unusual dose of humility, he got me with the confession that “…[he] is completely unqualified to be doing what he’s doing”
Lena: -How can you have a relation-ship with money? I understand we may have a relation-ship with people, animals, generally with living beings, but with money?
Collin:-(Laughing) And yet most people not only have a relation-ship with money, but a negative one, too, based on thoughts of scarcity and lack. I remember what opinions I heard as a child: “money is the root of all evil’, ‘money doesn’t grow on trees’, etc. When we have such negative thoughts about money, there is no way for us to attract it, on the contrary, we push it away.
L:-That’s true, but most of these limiting thoughts and beliefs are unconscious. On a conscious level, we think that we want money, that it is needed, but the barriers are still there, much deeper. Hence my question: how can we remove it?
C:-We may use affirmations and visualizations, but, what is most important is giving it all up to the spiritual intelligence. It bypasses all the censorship of our unconscious mind and heals everything that needs healing.
L-That’s something new. I’ve heard about NLP, working with affirmations, visualizations and meditation, etc. And yet you say that it is enough to trust spiritual intelligence?
C:-Precisely. All the methods you’ve mentioned are good, but without intervention of spiritual intelligence, they may be temporary. What’s more, we must be careful what we ask for, because God always gives it to us, which is not always the best. If, on the other hand, we trust our spiritual intelligence, it will choose such solutions which will genuinely make us happy.
L:-Examples work the best. Are you a living example of the power of manifestation? Do your dreams manifest on a daily basis?
C:-Yes, in the best of time. The trick is to have a clear goal, but you must be sure that it is in accordance with the spiritual intelligence, then we take action without being attached to its results. These should be entrusted with the spiritual intelligence, because it knows all the combinations and it chooses the one that’s best for us. It is important to dream about things for a specific reason. A number is an abstract concept to our mind, yet a dream in the form of a specific car is something tangible and doable.
L:-So while creating prosperity we should use something that we can imagine?
C:-Precisely, we must have a precise dream, in the form of a specific thing or activity, eg. Jaguar, 2010, black, etc. Money is useless in itself, value lies in what we can do with it. What is important is that our dream has a deeper purpose, eg. I want to have this car, because it is the way for me to manifest my creative power and to overcome my limitations, not just t impress someone.
