Spring detox

Beyonce lost 10 kilos in 15 days on a lemon detox, Gwyneth Patrol got back her slim pre-pregnancy silhuette in a flash thanks to dr Joshi’s formula whose benefits also wowed Oprah Winfrey and Kate Moss. Grażyna Wolszczak, one of the most beautful Polish actresses has also regularly used detox and to great effect as one can clearly see.
Detox is not, however, and should never be a way for losing weight- that is its pleasant side effect-but a path to better health. Our organs, tired with digesting heavy meals consumed in wintertime, require well-deserved rest. We must remember, though, that detox calls for proper beginning and ending.
Each and every detoxifacation starts with cleansing long intestines by change of diet hand in hand with hydrocolonics. We must approach the subject responsibly and create proper conditions such as time and peace.

Lemon liquid diet.
Very intensive.
Duration: 10 days.
Lemon diet was designed in 1941 and popularized by Peter Glickm in a book “Lose weight, gain energy and become happier in ten days”. Loss of weight, even up to 10 kilos in 15 days, is one of the benefits of the diet as well as deep cleansing of the bowels. During the detox we must drink from 6 up to 10 glasses of lemonade made from fresh lemons, cayenne pepper and maple syrop. During the detox we give up all food.
Lemonade recipe:
- 300 ml slightly warm water
- mix with 2 table spoons of fresh lemon juice
- 1/10 tea spoon of cayenne pepper
- Mornings and evenings we must drink
- salt soution of two tea spoons of salt
- dissolved in one litre of warm water.

Vegetable and fruit diet.
Intensive.
Duration: up to 6 weeks.
Perfect in springtime as it is based on eating fresh veggies and selected seasonal fruits low on sugar.
It lowers bad cholesterol, high blood pressure and it facilitates cleansing of the intestines. We must consume veggies and fruits in every form both warm and cold. Mild.
Duration: 21 days.
Aka Star diet since it’s been used by the most beautiful women in Hollywood
Its’ goal is to restore the proper alcaline ph. We should refrain from acidic products such as red meat, dairy, fruits, wheat, alcohol, nuts, potatos, jams, bread baked with yeast and cholocate. We can indulge, though, in all kinds of veggies (except for tomatos and peppers), white meat, dark rice, cottage or goat cheese, fish, natural honey, olives or lentills. It is recommened to drink herbal teas and 1,5 litre of water daily.
